Hello family, friends and supporters! On April 17, Alex was playing at school in P.E. when he slipped and slammed his head on the tile floor. He suffered a severe concussion. Alex lost his vision for a little over 3 hours. He was truly terrified! Alex was transported by ambulance from the school to Clear Lake Regional E.R. to be examined. They administered a MRI and CT scan to check for abnormalities in his brain. Thank God they came back normal. After the doctors witnessed the severity of the loss of vision and lack of awareness, they transferred him by ambulance to Texas Children's Hospital to be observed overnight. Alex is now home thank God but is still suffering from the results of a severe concussion. His feet are tingling, he has constant headaches and at times is dizzy. We are asking for any donation possible to help pay for the unexpected medical expenses. Alex had 2 ambulance rides, 2 E.R. visits, 2 different types of brain scans and an overnight stay with constant visits from several neurologists. We thank you in advance for your help and support! God Bless!
