Steven R. Leonard is a Denver native who has finished the first of three humorous memoirs detailing his adventures growing up poor in a large (he’s the oldest of nine children) middle class family in the 1970’s. He details the hardship of fighting his siblings for second helpings of meatless spaghetti (or as they call it in Italy: pasta) at the dinner table, and arguing about whose turn it was to play with the Etch a Sketch.

I am an animator, ux designer and artist living in Colorado. I teamed up with Steven Leonard to animate and gain exposure for his memoirs. The first time I read the Easter Duckling That Couldn’t Swim I was reminded by The Wonder Years, School House Rock and Bob’s Burgers. I knew this would be a complex story board that I had to develop and launch with very limited budget. We are continuously developing the content, the animation and the music. This is an exciting and absurd project.
