Food not Lawns started in 1999 with a small group of gardeners in Eugene. Within a few years we had transformed our neighborhood into a powerful community sharing food, seeds, plants, resources and land toward sustainability and food security. Now we have blossomed into an International network. Heather Jo Flores, author of the book Food Not Lawns, How to Turn Your Yard into a Garden and Your Neighborhood into a Community, will embark on a National tour, to organize events and teach communities how to work together to build paradise! Visit our Website, Support us through our upcoming Kickstarter campaign, join the mailing list to hear about when events come to your town, share stories about your gardens. Thank you!
