Sounds Great, but What the Heck is Fungo Golf?
Basically Fungo Golf is a mix up of both golf and baseball. It’s played with the same structure as Golf, except this game is played on a baseball field, with a Fungo bat, and a baseball. Just like when you play golf, the object is to hit your ball into a hole with as few swings as possible. Well, in Fungo golf it’s the same idea, but instead of hitting your ball with a club into a hole you have to hit your ball off of certain targets on the field with a fungo bat. Many baseball players who’ve had to sit through rain delays or has had time between double headers know exactly what Fungo golf is all about.
Lets say hole #1 would be a sign on the outfield fence. The way you Tee off in this game is a little different than in traditional golf. In Fungo golf you have your bat in one hand, ball in the other and all you do is simply toss the ball up to yourself and swing away. Now from that point as long as you are close enough to the target, in this case the sign on the outfield fence. You have to “Putt” your ball just like in golf and try to hit your target.
Score is kept the same way as you would keep it in golf. So every time you swing and hit your ball its considered a stroke, and at the end of the game the player with the least amount of strokes wins the game. There are many different variations of how people play it, but this is how we do it!

Let me break it down into more detail so you know exactly where every dollar will be spent
- $20,000 for IOS Development cost This includes development costs on both the Iphone and Ipad
- $7,500 for new fields (Cost to design and program into the game) My goal is to get at least 5 new fields ($1,500 per new field) $1,500 x 5 = $7,500
- $7,500 for new characters (Cost to design and program into the game) My goal is to get at least 10 new characters ($750 per new character) $750 x 10 = $7,500
- $4,000 for new power ups and new all new gear for player customization (This means new hats, shirts, pants, hair styles, shoes, and new weapons)
- $1,500 Chat Room in between innings where users can interact and see one another
- $7,500 for our initial marketing and promotion
- $2,000 for Indigogo’s 4% processing fee

Throughout my life I have made many connections - many of whom I plan to reach out to, to help open some doors to get my story out their to the people that can make a difference. I also plan to reach out to non-profit organizations and health care facilities with a passion similar to mine to help take this from an idea to a reality.

If your contribution is successful, an automatic confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided during the contribution process.

Risks
There is always a possibility that the game will be delayed due to technical problems, unforeseen circumstances or us wanting to polish the game more - but don’t worry, I will dedicate every bone in my body to work on Fungo Golf so that you will get to play the game as soon as possible.
Another risk is getting the rewards to you guys in the time I have estimated delivery. Depending on the amount of players and fields I have to develop and get into the game that could delay the process just a little bit, but don’t worry I promise every reward will be delivered one way or the other!
I also have to manage the risk associated with recruiting the heroes that these children playing the game will want to interact with. But I have a plan to reach out to a wide range of current non-profit organizations, business organizations, local unions and other organizations to recruit a diverse set of everyday heroes and celebrities.
