Deep Towers started from scratch 4 years ago inside my small bedroom in the family house. Prior to that period, I’ve started drawing and designing business models on paper as far back as 2009, shortly after I had managed to return back to the university having being a dropout from chemical engineering for 4 straight years.
To be able to express my business concepts, I founded Deep Towers in 2013 as a startup company on the internet, with the intention to meet investors, get funded, and ultimately create a meaningful number of fresh jobs in the economy. But, to remain in the path of growth, and sustain our lean team, we had to pivot into other areas: Business Consulting Services and Online Freelancing.
Before the 4th Anniversary, we celebrated a milestone with an international business collaboration involving two companies in South Africa. One, with a global import & export giant. The other one is a company in the recycling industry, manufacturing and supplying 100% recycled plastic furniture.
Although this is coming at a time the Nigerian economy has been in recession, with scenarios of dwindling revenues- hence the reason for this crowdfunding campaign, to enable my startup cross the CHASM, and position itself as the major representative & distributor of various range of plastic furniture made 100% from recycled plastic waste around Nigeria, and other West African markets.
At the moment, Deep Towers has been invited to meet with the directors of the two companies in South Africa for a crucial executive meeting from the 15th of July. Other purpose of the 2 weeks visit includes a factory tour and intensive product training. We’ve also hoped that now is the right time to complete the incorporation process of Deep Towers into a limited liability company (LTD) starting with 3,000,000 founder’s shares.
