So here’s a little background information on the song. I was dating a guy who had a close friend that happened to be a girl. She also happened to hang around a lot. Trying to be the perfect girlfriend, I said it didn’t bother me.
Well I lied. It bothered me.
So I cowrote a song about the situation and how I felt like my boyfriend and this girl might have feelings for each other that would come to the surface under certain circumstances.
Fast forward several months, and I learned my lyrics weren’t just suspicions.
And don’t worry, names were changed to protect the guilty
