We have created kamere.com where you can find and share inspiration and now we are raising funds to create the mobile application to make it easy for you to find and share inspiration anytime, anyplace.

Why Inspiration Matters

Studies prove that being inspired increases happiness and well-being, facilitates progress towards goals, and serves as a springboard for action and creativity (Harvard Business Review ‘Why Inspiration Matters’ Scott Barry Kaufman - Nov. 8, 2011).  The idea is that if you are inspired by an uplifting story, quote or video, you will likely share it with your social network, and in turn, your friends will share it with their friends - it will create an on-going spiral of inspiration that will create an epidemic of well-being.

How we connect people to inspiration

Everyday millions of people are looking for inspiration to feel happier, regain hope, be motivated, and many other personal and professional reasons. People spend hours mining over 650 million inspirational blogs, videos, images and articles to find inspiration.  Kamere creates a place that brings together the best inspiration. A recent study at UCSD revealed that a positive post on Facebook yields an additional 1.75 positive posts among friends.  The study also states “We should be doing everything we can to measure the effects of social networks and to learn how to magnify them so that we can create an epidemic of well being.” (UCSD “Detecting Emotional Contagion in Massive Social Networks”).

What we have done so far

Kamere has created a website, kamere.com, that provides curated, aggregated and categorized inspirational content.  Kamere provides an easy place to find and share powerful, positive inspiration.  The inspirational content includes daily quotes, inspirational stories, videos and community inspiration.  Kamere provides a platform to share the stories that are powerful and uplifting.  We have a talented team of developers and creative content curators who have worked to create the website and are ready to make this powerful content more easily available via the mobile application.
