The Plastic Face: The Solomon Sisters Volume One by JESSie NW is about Jessica Solomon. Everyone thinks that she has everything and, on the surface, she does. The only thing missing in her life is a person who will love her unconditionally and who she can connect with. She is drifting away. She feels that she is lagging behind while everyone else is moving forward with their lives. She desperately needs love and, when it does come, she has to fight for it because, like everything else in her life, she has to fight for love too. Darren is a man of secrets. Damaged by his past, he could not help but fall in love with Jessica. Her uncommon beauty enthralled him and he wanted to protect and cherish her to the best of his abilities. Jessica is someone he cannot bear to lose and he will do everything in his power to keep her in his life. This novel was profound and very entertaining. I am a sucker for a good romance and this was everything I look for in a romance novel. The characters were strong and weak in their own regard, and that was the beauty of it. This characteristic made them all the more relatable. Darren is such a good guy; he came into Jessica’s life and gave her the affection and protection she needed. He cherished her and wanted her. This story is about pure passion and the love of two people who want each other despite each other’s faults.
