The Book is inspired by Nahushka Patan by Maithili Sharan Gupt. This is a tale of friendship, love and the lust for intellectual power. This is also the tale of students, teachers and lessons in humility. Arvind’s life seems as ordinary as yours or mine, settled in a high paid job and is planning to marry his girlfriend Meghana soon. But, prick the surface and there are secrets underneath. Dark secrets from his past that may change his future. And with him, it will swallow the future of all his friends.

It all begins when Arvind finds few weird symbols in his brother’s (Raj) hostel room! He feels Deja-vu. His best friend Mahesh used to draw the same weird symbols. Bad things followed and when Mahesh came for Arvind’s help, Arvind backed out!

What will Arvind do now, will he back out on Raj, his own brother?
