I write to entertain, educate and offer a temporary escape into a think outside of the box adventure. Becoming an author has been a dream for years. I would write things here and there, but not really commit to it. Once I did, every door closed and I became discouraged. Getting in the doors of a traditional publisher, was difficult. In 2012, my father was admitted to ICU. He went into distress, and not one medical staff knew! I walked into his room and found him UN-responsive. He went too long without oxygen and passed away. That hurt me to the core! I needed a positive distraction, therefore I put pen to paper and began to write again. Two companies became my go to source to becoming a self-published children's book author. One is "Createspace" and the other is "Fiverr." I now have six books, and several  manuscripts. My main reason for this "headtalker" is to raise funds for my latest book called Nyrah's Bully. I need funding for the first round of printing, marketing, bullying items from companies like "Positive Promotions" and "Oriental Trading" and other incidentals that stems from being a self-publisher. It's not easy and that makes it easy to give up.  I need YOU to help make my dreams to being a children's book author, creating "Online Story Time with Mrs. Annie and recording children's CD's, come true. Whatever you can contribute will be most helpful. My initial goal is $3500, but that's just to start. If 350 people donated $10 each, I would reach my goal like a streak of lightning!!
