Reality Crowd TV (RCTV) is proud to present a new Educational Crowdfunding Partnership Series called "Crowdfunding Office Hours". RCTV has partnered with sponsors to bring you a complete 360 degree view of the Crowdfunding ecosystem.
The purpose of the hangout is to offer those interested in getting a basic understanding of what crowdfunding is an opportunity to review various tools, tips, and strategies, as well as get educated on the crowdfunding process. Questions can be around the 9 stages of crowdfunding that every campaign must go through:
1) Business Planning
2) Intellectual Property
3) Social Media
4) Public Relations
5) Campaign Strategy
6) Networking & Team Building
7) Website Development
8) Profile & Video
9) Fulfillment
We decided this was necessary because ultimately there is only so much time we have to offer hands on help to people and many people are just now being introduced to crowdfunding and it wouldn't make sense for someone to go out and spend a lot of money on consultants until you have a clear understanding of all aspects of crowdfunding.
The fact of the matter is, you can delegate authority to others but you should never delegate responsibility. It is your responsibility as a project creator to ensure that you know as much as possible so that you never get taken advantage of by consultants (Ask us how we know :(.)
