There are times in life when we may question whether we are consciously travelling towards a destination, or really just servants of a destiny which has been preordained and set out for us by something higher. Destination or Destiny is a book which contains a series of short stories and poems which are as eclectic and as far apart as stories and poems can be, while still maintaining a thread which links them together. From ancient Rome, and a slave’s lasting wish for respite, to an inner city estate in modern day London and a supernatural experience for some party animals, there is a journey which is connected and related. Stories of Time and Love are intertwined with a heartfelt letter for a friend who has passed on. It is a fusion of prose, combining the ancient, the modern, love and magic, interspersed with subtle poetry which acts like the mortar that binds them together. And ultimately it is for you, the reader, to decide whether it is destiny that led to these places, or if it was just a journey travelled and a destination which was always going to be reached.
