Fourteen months ago, after making the decision not to resign with my former publisher, the Grimsley Hollow books were unpublished. Due to unforeseen circumstances (former publisher stole all my cover art files and did not provide professional editing), it took a while to get the books in shape.

This series is dear to my heart because the protagonist is an autistic child and my son. I started the first book when he graduated  to middle school and was bullied almost on a daily basis. I hoped to convey how life is for my son (and many others) and to encourage neuro-typical children to include these amazing kids in their lives. After all, special-needs children are no different in their desire to be accepted for who they are – to have real friends.
