Jay is my best friend and has been having a hard time paying on the loans they've taken out for school. They've been going to the Art Institutes of Orange County, and this has taken a huge toll on finances.
On top of their phone breaking, with no 100% guaranteed fix, so there's a brand new phone as well as a $10,000 loan to pay in full at the moment. Jay had been attending classes and now has a hold on their financial status at school because of the unpaid balances, and that's throwing a wrench into the planned graduation next year. Without the loan paid in full, and the financial hold lifted, Jay won't be able to register for classes.
It's been mentally taxing, and taking a huge toll on them, and I want nothing more than to help Jay with this. At least to pay off a good chunk of that loan would help more than anything in the world right now.
