Have you ever had a dream and the dead follow you?

Since childhood my life has been haunted by dreams that became my harsh reality, and I have witnesses to prove it.

And, every significant man in my life, died on a Tuesday beginning with my grandfather on my 10th Birthday. All three husbands in my life have died on a Tuesday as did my father.  

And, got this going for me too:

“What do you do after being kidnapped, date-raped, sexually molested, mugged, stoned, beaten by nuns, thrown in front of a car, witness the shooting death of a loved one, find the body of another and endless other crimes ?” I’ll tell you what you do… keep breathing.

Learn to thrive and not just survive.

It has taken 40 years to write Sticks and Stones and Broken Bones, a non-fiction piece of work that will no doubt empower the meek to stand strong – I am a guest speaker at the Dark History Con this September in Champaign, Ill.
