On May 27, 2023 my brother Feras Morad, age 20, was fatally shot by a Long Beach police officer. He was unarmed and wrongly accused of being violent, he has jumped out of a two story window and had been bleeding profusely, he had no ability to harm anyone. He had been under the influence but had very dull senses and no power to hurt anyone. Instead of police trying their hardest to detain him they resorted to shooting. This is only one of a vast number of unjust cases pertaining to police brutality. We are hoping to shed more and more light on this issue that is unfortunately so common nowadays in order to make a big change and really advocate the wrongness of police brutality. Please help us spread the word so we can make sure that this disgusting crime comes to a halt and that other families don't have to go through such a traumatic experience.
