In 2010, I released a Kamelot Fan Music Video for "The Human Stain". It was shot on a very average camera in a tiny apartment in Toronto. Nevertheless, I was able to get in touch with the management of the band and they approved the video, which is why it doesn't have a copyright claim on YouTube. Well that was 2010 and I have had ample time to improve my skills both in production and in post-production. One thing that hasn't improved so much is my financial situation. I really hate begging for money and it is my absolute last resort. Sadly I have no choice. I generally work with no budget or very low budget. However, a camera dolly is out of my league. This campaign is only to fund a camera dolly so that we can use it on 2 Kamelot Fan Music Videos. One of "Liar Liar" and one of "Under the Grey Skies". The dolly will give the videos the edge for sure. As for the rest of the gear, I was able to acquire it over the years. We have good lights, a proper greenscreen, a big space to shoot at and a good professional camera. When it comes to dollies, they come in many shapes and forms but if we want something that's durable, we need to spend a bit more than average. This is the dolly I have in mind: The risks and challenges in my case never change. I do not have a broad social network like many other posters on this website do. Honestly, I'm not very good at all this online marketing stuff. The challenge is mainly that I have to do most of the work by myself. This is not only production but also post-production and editing that relies heavily on computer graphics. While I know how to do graphics, I am by no means an expert. Of course if some sort of collaboration is possible, that would be great!
