Join Love Equality as we take to the streets of Belfast on July 1st to demand that the Government enshrine marriage equality into law in Northern Ireland. The announcement of the march comes against a backdrop of negotiations to form a new UK government, with the issue of the continuing bar on equal marriage in Northern Ireland under intense scrutiny. With a Stormont talks deadline of June 29 to decide on devolution or direct rule for Northern Ireland, campaigners will call for whichever government is in charge to deliver equal marriage legislation for Northern Ireland, in line with overwhelming public opinion in the region. The march will gather at 2.30pm at Writer’s Square, Belfast and we will make our way to Belfast City Hall at 3pm with guest speakers TBC. Everyone is welcome!
