Help us raise the profile of migraine during Migraine Awareness Week 4-10 September 2016
Migraine is the most common neurological disorder in the UK affecting
1 in 7 people. It is also one of the most
disabling lifetime conditions.
Many struggle for years to manage their migraine and the enormous burden it can have on work, family and social lives. There is currently no cure.
To make matters worse, migraine is often trivialised – it doesn't attract the sympathy or attributed seriousness as comparable conditions. Migraine is one of the most misunderstood and underfunded medical conditions in modern medicine.
The Migraine Trust is a charity working to change this. We are committed to reducing the burden of migraine. We fund research, provide evidence-based information, campaign for and support people affected by migraine in the UK.
Whether you have migraine or not, we're asking people to take and share our migraine quiz this
Migraine Awareness Week. We want people to take a brief moment to test what they know, perhaps learning in the process and rethinking perceptions of migraine and its impact.
