Who am I? My name is Pedro, I am a psychologist graduated from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México in 2011. You can find more about my work experience here. After some years of experience working with vulnerable groups, I decided it was time to push myself to the next level in order to acquire new knowledge and skills, so I applied for a Master in Social Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam. I have raised some money… With the high-quality research, study facilities and the world-renowned reputation of the staff of the VU come the expensive tuition fees and living-costs in Amsterdam. I have been able to handle the basic costs of living as I received the William James scholarship. Furthermore, I have been able to earn some extra money from a part-time job working as a housekeeper. Additionally, I received a student loan from the university as part of the tuition fee during my first year. …but still I need your help In order to keep pursuing this dream, I need to pay the tuition fee for the second year, which is €12,000. I was able to pay the first €2,000, but I won’t be able to afford the rest on my own. I am kindly asking you to help me to rise €5,000 before December the 21st. This amount will help me to pay two more installments and gain time in order to get in contact with charities and continue my side jobs; additionally, by reducing my debt I could increase the probability to get a student loan.
