My name is Kelly and I wrote Pumpkin Passes Away for my two children JT(9) and Mercy(10). While the story basically documents what happened to Pumpkin and all the choices the family had to make in assisting Pumpkin to the other side it is also was written to encourage and comfort the children through losing their pet. That is the point of the story, all the stories the kids and I work on. To help others. To nurture children and inform them on the hard topics that kids go through sometimes. However, our first goals are very simple. We need to buy a modest but professional camera and we want to buy several dollhouse miniatures in order to create scenes and take photos to illustrate the story.
