Too many children suffering emotional trauma have slipped through the cracks of our educational system, they go unnoticed or considered problematic due to their behavior in class. I was one of those children who grew into adulthood, the hard way. Triggers, depression, violence, rape and murder, too, common are these words that visit my vocabulary everyday. In spite of it all my humanity grows stronger everyday. A choice I make regardless of the inhumanity I have endured.
