One of the most requested reissues we've had in the last few years, we're please to offer the "Perfecta" reissue on remastered CD & Vinyl. Vinyl for the first time ever. This campaign will mark a first for "Perfecta" if we meet the funding goals.
"Perfecta takes on a devastating gravity with repeated listens. Each of the record's tales of imperfection seem to give its title a caustic edge. Where Dig and Homeboys reconstructed funk and R&B, the songs on Perfecta contain little in the way of forward momentum. Guitars pool out slowly, drenched in distortion; songs build slowly to crushing crescendos; the darkness that appeared around the edges of the songs on Dig fully floods Perfecta, and every unrelenting chord solidifies like cement around the ankles.
