I am local activist, local publisher, and coach.  I've taught thousands of people how to start their own publishing business, and I am asking for your support to help me launch TLA in Austin, TX for locally-owned,independent businesses & residents who are interested in making their community a better place. I first decided to bring this to my local community when I saw corporate-chain stores popping up all over the place and experiencing the loss of individuality in my own town.  What I want to do is develop a space that local business owners can showcase their individuality and uniqueness.  This is done through, our Local Loyalty Card that rewards local residents when they support local places, and the Think Local Austin Magazine that focused entirely on local places, businesses, and all the people that make our community great. In addition, I am rewarding entrepreneurs that may have an interest in making their own community more sustainable, so that they can experience it and decide if this is what they want to bring to their own local town.  We all have dreams and aspirations of doing things, and this is about helping our local communities flourish, while helping people accomplish their dreams.
What I want to do is have people help me create a model for sustainable economies that don't rely on corporate dollars to create a thriving community. And I want others to explore this model so that they too can pass on their love and devotion of the idea. Think Local Austin is about sustainability: it's not about being so big that you have to maintain your bigness, it's about being just big enough that your local campaign takes care of your local businesses, restaurants, and community.

To serve as a model for local communities to work with local businesses, consumers, and policymakers to grow a sustainable, local economy in Austin, TX and in your own local community.  And to also provide a model to make a living by following your dreams and to affirm that you can make living from supporting local businesses. This is a place for local entrepreneurs on every level.  If we reach our fundraising goal to create Think Local Austin, then you know we can help you start your own Think Local campaign.

This is our online business directory that gives local business owners a place to showcase their uniqueness contribution to our local community, and it's free to join. 2) Think Local Austin Loyalty Card This is our local loyalty card that rewards local residents with a discount or freebie from local places when they visit their favorite local places.  All they have to do is show their card. 3) Think Local Austin Magazine The ONLY local magazine to showcase local places, people, events, and all things local.  A full-color, glossy publication with unique advertorials, local images and a place to spell out what's unique about our local community.
I'll teach you how to start a publication business from home to create an extra income for you and your family. I've been creating an additional income with these methods since 2013 and I'll share them with you when you support my campaign. 1) Like Think Local Austin on our facebook page 2) Share the campaign on your facebook page 3) Tweet it 4) Blog about it 5) Send the campaign out to your chamber of commerce, work-from-home, and community news groups. 6) TRUST IN YOURSELF Use the power of the social network to make good things happen!

Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal. If the campaign does not reach the funding goal, then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference. This is also an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special project! Help the campaign reach its goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
