Helping Young Adults Reach Their Creative Potential

How do Students choose in a career in the Creative Arts? Do they even know what that means or how to pursue a career in the Creative Arts? Parents, Counselors and Teachers often ask “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. Most will say they want to make a living doing what they love! Maybe they love to draw, or take pictures! Maybe they’re into Fashion, Cars or Movies! They might even have an idea for a new Product or Video Game. But where do they start?

The Imaginarium Lab is a Creative Academy built on the idea that Creative People need Tutors and Mentors too! There are plenty of academic learning centers to help with Math or Science; or to help score higher on the SAT’s, but what about the "Creative Type"? Who is going to help them prepare for a career in the Creative Arts? School is a great place to learn the basics of drawing or designing with computers, but how do you turn that into a career? At the Imaginarium Lab classes are designed to introduce students to the business world of Creative Arts! Professionals from throughout the industry will be guest lecturers and provide insight into how to get into the business. Some students will even have the opportunity to apply what they have learned into real world experience.

The Image Laboratory (parent company and partner to the Imaginarium Lab) is a Creative Agency that employees High School and College Students to provide Creative Services to Small Businesses throughout the community that simply cannot afford the high prices that Creative Agencies charge. Students struggle to find a competitive advantage with college acceptance and finding their first professional job while Small Business struggle to find a competitive advantage over their competition. The Image Laboratory is the solution to BOTH of their problems. Students walk away with a portfolio and resume of real world experience and small businesses walk away with a creative campaigns that will boost their business.

The Imaginarium Lab was founded by Robert Pagan, a creative professional with over 20 years experience designing for Advertising, Promotion and Entertainment Agencies as well as Manufacturers of Consumer Products, Architectural Signage and Consumer Lenders. Originally a print designer, Robert has spent his career learning and applying his knowledge of Print, Web and Environmental Design, Video Production, Photography and Fashion Design.
