Exiled from his native homeland in Africa, Adonis becomes separated from his pride and is forced to make a home in the Adirondacks. The need to claim a mate is strong, but how will he ever find her when no one will give him a chance because of his appearance? Not only did being a white lion make him an outcast amongst his own kind, he’s isolated and constantly rejected in his human form as well.
Eira is bored with her run of the mill, mundane life. She loves her job as a pilot and enjoys meeting new people, but something is missing. There’s no excitement, no romance, no special someone to fill the empty space in her heart. Being human, it only makes sense that she date her own kind, which wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t find every man she meets a total bore and completely ordinary.
