How does HeadTalker Work?
First, a person would create a campaign on HeadTalker. This campaign has a message and link that the creator is trying to get shared on social media. The creator would then ask people to join their HeadTalker campaign. Once the supporter goal and end date of the HeadTalker campaign have been reached, the message and link will be shared by all of the supporters at the same time on their social media account to their friends and followers. This allows for the campaign creators to have their link seen by new people who do not follow them directly!

The best way to promote your HeadTalker campaign is to ask everyone you can. HeadTalker campaigns are free to support through social media, so if you ask nicely, most people will be happy to support your campaign. Facebook comments can be made on campaigns, so you can trade support with other campaign creators. Tweet out to campaign creators on Twitter to ask to trade support as well. There are also multiple Facebook groups for HeadTalker where you can post your HeadTalker campaign. Don't forget to embed your HeadTalker campaign onto your website to help gather supporters. You can also send your HeadTalker campaign to people through email, or you can have your HeadTalker campaign link in the signature of your email. Reddit is also a good place to post your HeadTalker campaign. Your local news stations have the power to get your HeadTalker campaign to the masses, so make sure to pitch the press. Youtube videos telling people why you need their support is always a great way to express yourself to people on social media. There are many other ways that you can promote your HeadTalker campaign, so be creative!

You can edit the end date of your HeadTalker campaign from My Account. Your campaign cannot extend over 59 days from the day it was published.

Yes. When you are on the HeadTalker campaign that you want to embed, simply click on the Embed button located on the campaign page. From there, you can copy either the Wordpress URL or the code depending on the website you are embedding the HeadTalker campaign on.

If you don't gather enough supporters by your campaign's end date and time, your messages will not be shared by your supporters. Be sure to actively promote your campaign to build support! If you need your supporter goal lowered, you can do this from My Account when logged in with the account that created the campaign.

All features are free to use on HeadTalker. It is free to create and support as many campaigns as you would like. HeadTalker provides a marketplace where you can purchase supporters for a HeadTalker campaign. We collect a small portion of the cash spent in the marketplace to keep the lights on at HQ.

Social reach is the total amount of friends or followers a supporter has. This is the potential amount of people who will be able to see your post on social media.

You can edit your HeadTalker campaign from the My Account page. Make sure you are logged in with the social media account you created the HeadTalker campaign with, and from there you will be able to make some changes. If you cannot make the edit from there, please ask for help through the Contact Form.

The message only post once the successful HeadTalker campaign has ended. We would never make it share more than once. That wouldn't be cool.

You can always opt out of a specific HeadTalker campaign by returning to the HeadTalker campaign page and following the steps you took to add support.

No. The seller has the right to refuse to support a campaign based on their own will. This rarely happens, but if it does, you will receive a refund immediately after we have been notified that the seller canceled your order.

Go to the HeadTalker campaign you want to support and click the big blue social button(s) associated with the social media accounts you want to use. From there, you will be prompted to follow instructions to add your support.

Sellers earn 70% commission for each sales. Sellers set their own price and can have unlimited sales.
Was this helpful?What is the minimum funds I need to withdraw my funds?
The minimum amount of earnings a seller needs to be able to withdraw is $25. Once a seller reaches $25 in earnings, then their money can be sent to their PayPal account.

You need to authorize your account in order for HeadTalker to work properly. We ask for the basic permissions to allow messages to be shared on your behalf automatically for campaigns you support, and it is needed to calculate social reach.

Facebook pages are not supported. Currently only personal Facebooks are supported.

Yes. Only the supporters of the HeadTalker campaign will post the message and link.

The HeadTalker Market Place is where you can buy supporters for your crowdspeaking campaign on HeadTalker to increase the amount of social reach and supporters for a specific campaign. You can also become a seller to sell your support to campaign creators who are buying from the HeadTalker Market Place.

Buyers order gigs from the HeadTalker Market Place. Once the gig is paid for, the seller will be notified through email to join the campaign. After the seller adds their support to the HeadTalker campaign, they will mark the order as complete to allow the buyer to know the support has been added.

To order a gig, simply go to a seller's gig page and click on the Buy Reach button. Once you pay for the gig, your HeadTalker campaign will be emailed to the seller so they can add their support.

When a gig is pending review, our HeadTalker Market team will review your gig to make sure your gig can be approved to be published on our site. We try to get gigs approved in 24 hours or less, but it may take some time review your gig due to the volume of gigs encountered throughout the day.

In order to become a seller, you can create your gig from the Start button in the menu, or from the Become A Seller link in the footer.

Buyers pay HeadTalker for orders in advance to prevent fraud and to keep your payment safe. You may not pay other users directly using any method other than ordering through the HeadTalker Market Place order page. In case you have been asked to use an alternative payment method, please report it immediately. If you are caught paying a seller using an alternative payment method, their gig will be deleted from the HeadTalker Market Place.

Was this helpful?What’s the advantage to choosing a larger supporter goal?
If you meet and exceed a higher goal, you will receive more traffic to your website than if you were successful on a smaller goal, depending on the amount of social reach your supporters have. We encourage most creators to start with a smaller goal (50 or 100) to allow them to gain some early momentum. Keep in mind that the goal can be raised later. If you need your goal lowered, you can lower the goal from My Account.
