If Bernie is serious about winning the democratic nomination and isn’t just running to “push Hillary left” and endorse her in the end, then he needs to address the issue at the very core of the Democratic party.
The DNC selects its presidential nominee through ‘delegates’, and some of these delegates are considered special… super if you will. They are selected by the party, and have the power of 10,000 voters. They are used to vote in the interests of the party establishment and thwart the will of the people. Out of 717 superdelegates, 455 have already decided to vote for Hillary. How is this democratic?
We want Bernie to publicly challenge the superdelegate system while he still has a chance. Join the conversation and sign up to tweet live during the debate so Bernie can answer our question!
